This project was done for a customer who had recently broken their ankle, and required a garden that they were able to easily step into. So we designed a raised decking platform of treated grooved timber, making it safe for them to walk on, even when wet.
GGS Landscapes employed two of its associate contractees to complete the task to the highest standard possible. As you can see, we used a lattice-style framework to support the decking, accurately measured to fit just underneath the doorframe of the french doors.
A gentle slope and shallow steps were added at the end of the decking to make it easier for the customer to continue down onto the garden.
